I think I first properly met Jeremy in 2004. By chance we were sharing a garage together at Snetterton at one of the Bemsee meetings. I had been introduced to him briefly before by our mutual friend “Red” Cartwright.

Right from the first time I saw him you could tell how enthusiastic he was, not only about his own racing, but also about everybody else’s racing!

We got on well when we shared the garage & from then on, when he was racing, we tried to pit together whenever we could.

Like I said, he had massive enthusiasm & was also very positive, which was very contagious & something you need bucket loads of when things are not going quite as well as you think they should be.

His positive attitude really helped me early on & now we still chat about the good things from a race even if I’m out of the points!

Jeremy retired from his racing in 2006, he had basically done enough! But I’m glad to say he still comes along & helps me at the Bemsee rounds I attend.

As well as having a good laugh & enjoying our racing, we also are able to take it seriously & I can draw on his wealth of racing knowledge to help me make the decisions I need to all through a racing weekend.

There is also an added bonus as Tina, Jeremy’s wife, supplies the Herbalife products & of course I use those to make sure my body is able to keep up with my mind!

Just as proof that Jeremy’s influence can help towards results, we’ve just enjoyed four wins out of four races at Brands Hatch at the opening round of the 2007 season, can’t be bad!
